Q: Where is the event being held? Is it at one location or at multiple shops? 

A. We will bring together several tattoo artists from across the city’s various shops in one venue.

Q. Is it safe to get my tattoo at the event?

A.  Absolutely. We work very closely with Alberta Health Services and the tattoo artists to ensure that we meet the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness and this will be strictly enforced at the event.

Q. What are my tattoo options this year?

A.  We are offering 3 tattoos this year – a semicolon, an arrow and a heartbeat.

Q. How much are the tattoos? 

A. A basic black tattoo is $50.

Q. Can I get more than one tattoo?

A.  Yes. Each tattoo is $50. You can register to get one, two or all three at the event.

Q. If I volunteer can I still get a tattoo? 

A. Yes, however there are no dedicated lines for tattoos this year. Volunteers must check in with their volunteer coordinator for how to register.  

Q. I’m under 18, can I get a tattoo with parental consent? 

A. Unfortunately, we can’t allow for minors to obtain or even be in the tattoo area at this type of event, even with parental consent. If you plan to get a tattoo and have a child, please be sure that you have someone to supervise your child outside of the tattoo area while you are getting your tattoo. Childcare is not being provided and children are to be supervised at all times.

Q. How do I book a time?

Q. I can’t attend the event. Can I get a voucher to get my tattoo another time?

A. No. We will not be providing vouchers for this event.

Q. I don’t want a tattoo, but I want to come to the event. Is there a cost?

A. The event is open to the public and free admission.

Q. Can I get my ticket for a tattoo at the event?

 A. No. We will be accepting pre-paid tickets only.
